This summer we had the pleasure of visiting a Pavilion or gift from the Dutch and we must say, "my oh my what a gift!"

The Amsterdam Pavilion, designed by UN Studio, is nice little piece of architecture calling lower Manhattan home. This is the first in a series of short videos from Great Spaces - highlighting interesting architecture in the New York City area. - via Talkitect

The Amsterdam Pavilion was commissioned by the Battery Conservancy, is a gift from the Netherlands to New York in honor of 400 years of friendship. It was unveiled to public in September 2009, if you’ve never visited the building, let’s take a close look on this project. - via Plusmood
